In partnership with Whitby Museum, this year’s event marked our biggest Street Arts programme as we partnered with ‘Let’s Circus’ to deliver an international programme featuring content from Japan, Australia, India and of course, the UK. We created a one-off museum by candlelight experience, and transformed town centre spaces such as Pannet Park and the Endeavour Quay.
The Fossil Festival became a multi-arts experience as a celebration of the 200th anniversary of Whitby Museum. With a full outdoor arts programme in both town centre, and the museum park precinct, our programme that combined street science with street. Meanwhile in the museum and art gallery our daytime programme brought museum collections from across the UK, many for the very first time to the Cleveland Coast.
